Qichen Wang

I am a Research Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University. I received my PhD degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Professor Ke Yi. Before that, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Computer Science Department at Zhejiang University. During Aug. 2016 to Jan. 2017, I was a research intern in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, supervised by Professor Hong Cheng and Professor Jeffrey Xu Yu. I also worked as a research intern at Alibaba, DAMO Academy from June 2019 to Oct. 2019.

Research interest

Database Theory and Algorithms; Streaming Processing; Distributed and Parallel Computing.
